Dickie - Discover The World, One Surprise at a Time

M.A. Creative Direction for Fashion Media - Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design

The task for this project was to select a movie character and design a lifestyle brand inspired by their unique traits and personality. The character chosen is Dickie from The Talented Mr. Ripley, who embodies boldness, adventure, and a free-spirited attitude.

Brand Statement

Dickie is a travel agency with a twist; rather than be given a detailed itinerary before your trip, Dickie will send you a detailed questionnaire to create your ideal trip and keep the journey a surprise by sending clues leading up to the departure date. The purpose of this brand is to provide an outlet for people just like Dickie himself, providing an experience where they leave the planning to the expert of it all, Dickie.

Graphic Design Collaboration for M(US)E Magazine

I assisted in finalizing the graphic design for the magazine by building upon the initial concepts provided by the team. Using their starting points as a foundation, I refined the design elements, ensuring consistency with their vision while enhancing layout, color schemes, typography, and overall aesthetic to create a polished, cohesive final product.

Brand Statement

M(US)E Magazine is a secondhand-styled publication that weaves a visual narrative of the key influences that shape people and define who they are today. It invites readers to find inspiration in their own personal experiences, while recognizing their connection to communities that are both similar and distinct from their own.
